DWI/DUI Clinics
If you are charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), it’s important to have confidential and professional help that meets your legal requirements and that benefits you personally.
Assessment/Evaluation
The first step after being charged with a DWI is to have an assessment. You may do this voluntarily, your attorney may recommend it, or the court may order it. During an assessment you will meet with a licensed and trained addiction therapist who will make recommendations for you. Club Recovery will prepare an assessment summary acceptable by the court. Most assessments can be scheduled within a day of your request.
Level I Awareness Education
This is a 6-hour drug and alcohol awareness course that meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The course meets the requirement of the court for Level I DWI education.
Level II Awareness and Other Education
The number of hours of education may vary for a number of reasons. Also, some counties and other states require longer programs. Level II is a 12 hour program over two Saturdays. To complete a Level II, take a Level I course and an additional Level II course. The Level II course meets on the third Saturday of the month.
Chemical Dependency Treatment
The chemical dependency treatment programs of Club Recovery meet the requirements of the court and The Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
License Revocation Rehabilitation
If you need a treatment program to regain your driver’s license, the Department of Transportation requires a program that is abstinence based and state approved. Club Recovery provides all necessary reports and a discharge summary when you finish the program.
Insurance
Many insurance programs will cover assessments and treatment related to DWI. Consolidated funding (Rule 25) is available for those who qualify. Ask for more information.
