“I've taken all the energy I used to put into gambling toward my marriage and children. I started coaching my son's baseball and I go to my daughterÕs gymnastics events. I didn't do things like that before.”

Intervention
When you want someone you care about to overcome addiction, experienced professionals can help your loved one toward acceptance.
An intervention is a way to speak honestly in a caring way with the addicted person helping him or her toward accepting there is a problem and to do something about it.
One of the characteristics of addiction is denial. The addicted person does not want to admit to himself or herself nor to anyone else there is a problem even when it becomes obvious to most everyone. If you have spoken to your loved one about alcohol or drug use, he or she may have rebuffed you or simply tried to rationalize the problem away.
Addiction professionals will meet with you to determine if the alcohol or drug use you have seen is an addiction and discuss treatment options. Our staff will work with you in every step of the intervention process.
It is important to take action quickly. The longer the delay, the longer the person will suffer and the more serious the consequences of the disease will become. Consequences are physical illness, loss of family, loss of job and career, criminal charges of driving while intoxicated, and ultimately death.
Please contact Club Recovery. There is no charge for an initial consultation.
