Nick Anderson, LPC, LADC, Joins Club Recovery


 

Club Recovery is thrilled to welcome Nick Anderson to the Club Recovery team. Nick Anderson is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). Nick serves as Club Recovery’s outreach director and group counselor for one of our evening intensive outpatient groups. He also conducts chemical health assessments to help clients determine what level of care best meets their needs.

Nick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado – Boulder and his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. He also has a specialized certification in Addiction Studies. Nick has worked in numerous roles in the addiction and mental health treatment fields for the past 10 years including providing group, individual, and couples therapy, crisis counseling, and case management services.

In terms of Nick’s clinical practice, Nick specializes in providing evidence-based group treatment that provides clients’ education, support, and an opportunity to connect with others to facilitate clients making meaningful change in their lives. His other areas of expertise include trauma-informed treatment, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, relapse prevention, and dual-diagnosis mental and chemical health treatment. Nick is a welcome addition to the Club Recovery team and his expertise as well as his deep commitment to client care helps the Club Recovery team pursue our larger mission, to ensure the provision of empathic, client-centered care for our clients with substance use disorders.
